Description
Dark okappa kokeshi with cherry blossoms or maple leaves inlaid (zogan) into the wood. Brand new, handmade in Gunma, Japan by Usaburo Kokeshi, a leading maker of creative (sosaku) kokeshi. Each doll is turned from Japanese wood and painted by hand, so slight differences between pieces are part of their charm. Prices may vary depending on the maker's stock availability.
