How we ship your order

We ship all orders via Japan Post with tracking as standard. Insurance is not included by default.

• Packages weighing 2kg or more, or with combined dimensions (length + width + height) over 90cm, are automatically insured — though the shipping cost increases accordingly.
• Via Japan Post, shipping rates are generally the same for Oceania, Canada, the Middle East, and Europe.
• Some regions can only be served by FedEx or DHL, which comes at a higher cost.
• Kitchen knives and sickles cannot be shipped to the United Kingdom.

Shipping rates

Shipping is calculated automatically at checkout from the weight of your order (packaging included). The same rates apply to Europe, Oceania, Canada and the Middle East.

Parcel weight	Shipping
Up to 500 g	€13
501 – 600 g	€17
601 – 800 g	€20
801 g – 1 kg	€23
1 – 1.2 kg	€26
1.2 – 1.4 kg	€28
1.4 – 1.6 kg	€30
1.6 – 1.8 kg	€32
1.8 – 2 kg	€33
One heavy item of 2 – 2.5 kg (sent by EMS)	€45

• Orders over 2 kg are packed into two boxes of up to 2 kg each, and each box is charged by the table above — so buying several items together is cheaper per item.
• Items over 2.5 kg, oversized items, and orders that need three or more boxes are quoted individually. We confirm the shipping cost with you before you pay.

Delivery time

• Dispatch: within 5 days of order confirmation (made-to-order items such as engraved seals and hand-printed woodblock prints take longer — shown on the product page).
• Delivery to Europe: usually 1–3 weeks, about 2 weeks on average. The fastest destinations (such as the Netherlands) often receive parcels in about 7 days.
• You will receive a tracking number when your parcel is dispatched. Customs checks in your country can occasionally add a few days.
