Description
An okappa girl in a haori watching the plum blossoms on an early spring day. Outlines are burned in by hand with a hot iron before painting. Brand new, handmade in Gunma, Japan by Usaburo Kokeshi, a leading maker of creative (sosaku) kokeshi. Each doll is turned from Japanese wood and painted by hand, so slight differences between pieces are part of their charm. Prices may vary depending on the maker's stock availability.
