Description
Japanese soup bowls (owan) for miso soup, zoni and rice dishes. Wooden lacquered bowls keep soup hot while staying cool to the touch. The material is listed for each bowl: some are solid wood with real urushi lacquer, others are traditional Yamanaka-style lacquerware on a resin base, which is lighter and easier to care for.
Hand-wash recommended unless marked dishwasher-safe.
